Yes, yes it is true

Juan Daniel Herold Castillo and I were married on August 12th at 715pm!

we went to Ayacucho, Peru for our honeymoon! Ayacucho is about 9 hours away from Lima in bus. We stayed there for 3 days, it is beautful! it is in the mountains

my momma and precious sister came to the wedding in Peru! we had a lot of fun seeing each other after like 8 months...

we are living in Peru until this coming January and we will be back to live in the States for at the very least 1 year

So sorry dear friends for not updating or keeping in contact for so long

just got internet in the house yesterday

God is incredible!

I´m a house wife now!

we have our first child. Her name is honey. She is 5 months old tomorrow. and weighs about 27 kilos....

she looks a lot like my other daughter Surely Goodness and Mercy...they could be twins

haha

Honey is a Golden Retriever puppy that we bought from a pastor here in Peru

we will be bringing her back too..dont worry you all will meet her

finished school

got robbed twice...once ´´sneakily´´, the other time forcefully

i´ve forgotten a lot of english...if i spell something wrong or make up a word...forgive me

im married

we are living with Daniel´s family until January..his house is very big so there is room for us to make an apartment

i bought a dog-daughter

we changed churches

there is a new church by our house...about 4 months old....and we are helping it grow. Right now we are singing along with cds for worship and every once in a while with Daniel´s guitar.

In the process of searching for sound equipment to buy, because they are having to rent a little amplifier and speakers....and when that is not available daniel and i haul the family stereo ha

but God is doing great things! as always

Daniel was baptized 2 sundays ago in the River Rimac outside of lima in the country

im looking forward to seeing you all again! and being in my country!

i didnt think i´d miss the United States ...i knew i would miss my family and friends, but the actual United States....

but now i do

i miss everything

i love Peru

but there is just something about putting the toilet paper in the trashcan next to the toilet instead of flushing it that drives me crazy

and something about 5 million dogs running around outside all with fleas..and not being able to take your puppy outside with out ´´flea infesting´´ her.

but it is worth it

the people here are beautiful

we will live here until he can get his visa and we can earn enough money to buy plane tickets

theeennn....

we will come to the United Estados for no less than a year to work, study, be with my beautiful family and friends

and then we will come back here and live

UPDATE...

hmm im not one for politics....BUUUT

April 9th was election day in Peru... and there were 25 candidates for the presidency

because there are always so many candidates they have to have 2 voting sessions (primera vuelta y segunda vuelta....)

##by the way, it is mandatory to vote here

if you dont, you have to pay a fine..i think it is 170 soles which is almost 90 dollars##

....they narrow it down to 2 candidates for la segunda vuelta, which does not occur for another month

becauuuuse

they count all the votes by hand..imagine..just imagine...so they are still counting now..as we speak..well..type..whatever

i think in the news it says that they have counted more than 90 percent of the votes though

(that is minus the votes from the extranjeros (the foreigners and the votes from the Peruvians that are currently out of the country

..who all have to vote by the way or they are fined..they have to find a peruvian consulate in cualquier country and vote ha..ha..ha

...sooo anyways it looks like the 2 candidates are these:

Ollanta Humala (currently in first place) who is a very militaristic violent man who wants to shut off the foreign world from peru and basically make a peruvian bubble

he is anti US and major anti Chile (peru and chile have always been rivals for economic reasons)

when Ollanta was voting (they showed this on the news) the people gathered around him and shouted ´´murderer murderer´´..nice..real nice peru

and NUMBER 2...dun dun duuuunnnn the brave:::::

Alan Garcia who has been president before and during his ´´reign´´ the country was in economic crisis..because he and the government officials were hoarding money...

daniel says he remembers it, he was a little kid, his mom would send him and his brother with huge clay jars to fill with soup at a soup kitchen type place and it would have to last them for a week..soup..nothing else..

there was no electricity in San Juan de Lurigancho (the district in which i live) ni water..huge trucks would pass by once a week filled with water and all the people would run out with their huge jars to get enough water to last the week (drinking water, cooking water, bathing water, etc....)

but anyways Garcia fled the country and was gone until the drought ended...ha..ha..then he made his triumpant REentry to ´´clean up´´

the third runner up is a woman who would have been the first female peruvian president, she would have been a very positive reformist to ´´clean up peru´´

..pity..she is losing to Alan Garcia by 1 percentage point

i apologize for the delay in updating

i watched The Ring last night with daniel....

it was interesting

it wasnt horribly scary like i thought...

i did dream last night though that we were at Shepherd´s fold ranch in a big motor home, a ton of people inside..my mom and rachael..i cant remember the rest, but we were driving around inside the camp and there were peruvian buses and comvies passing us...but we werent in peru...hm.....we were searching for something....and finally mom says..THERE it IS!....it was a dead dog.....(there is a little dog that belongs to daniels aunt that lives right across the street, but the dog is always at daniels house....her name is chi chi...ha...anyways..it was her....) and her face was like the faces of the people that died in The Ring...if you havent seen it..their eyes are bugging out and their faces are rotting or something..hmm

then we drove on...and found another dead dog..this time a big dog......then we drove on and passed more buses...and i guess i woke up

night b4 last i dreamed i had cancer

hmmmmm

on a happier note..

im going to Quechua class
